2020 Christmas Toy Drive
Every year, as the holidays approach, families gather together to celebrate with festive decorations, feasts and an exchange of gifts. It’s easy to forget that many families struggle to provide a Christmas gifts for their children. This is especially true in the Canadian high Arctic where store bought items tend to be extremely expensive, ie. groceries and other store bought items are often 2 – 3 times higher than in the rest of Canada!

Join us in helping the Igloolik Food Bank bring the spirit of Christmas to the children in Igloolik…. a remote Inuit hamlet in Canada’s High Arctic.
The goal is to ensure every child in Igloolik, has at least one gift to unwrap this holiday season.

Select Age/Gender to play Santa to:

• Newborn – 1 year old
• 2 – 5 yr old
• 6 – 9 yr old
• 10 – 13 yr old
• 14 – 16 yr old
Christmas Shop!
Purchase a new gift of your choosing, or fill a Christmas Stocking with new gifts, for each Child you pledge to play Santa for.
Prepare your unwrapped Gift or Stocking for the mail. Don’t forget to complete the Santa Sign Up Form. This form helps us track what gifts are on the way and what is missing!

Shipping Tips!
Typically, Canada Post has had some great promotions to greatly reduce shipping costs. Check out Canada Post Flat Rate Boxes, (available at some Post Offices) and free shipping each Tuesday for small biz accounts during the entire month of October.
If you need confirmation that your package arrived, please save your tracking number and visit CanadaPost.ca to check the status. Unfortunately, we do not have the volunteer capacity to confirm all deliveries.
